Estrela da Ilha Eco Lodge started a project to support the local school, located in the nearby town of Saco do Ceu, where 58 children study
(ages ranging from 6 to 12). The school counts on three teachers paid by the City Hall, and an annual budget of only BR$1200,00 (approximately $600,00). The school building is old and needs repairing and reforms, to separate the kids of different forms. The school has only one old computer and a small library for its 58 students.

Our project aims to help the school through donations made by visitors from all over the world. Donations can be made in cash, books, school material, computers, printers, and everything related with the school improvement.
